Anyone knowing any info on this, it would be greatly appreciated and save a lot of head-aches. The ZETEC egnine bolts straight on to the original gearbox. Water out let is on the back of the head and the engine mounts don't line up. ALL the parts are off the shelf to make it fit right, including RWD headers. Best of all 140hp STOCK if you get a mondeo 2L zetec, add in a decent exhaust and quad throttle bodys (or 45mm webers and a megajolt ignition) and you'll be over 150hp for less then half the cost of building a pinto (2L OHC) with the same peak power, with the added bonus of a wider power spread and better road manners. There is enough flow in a Zetec head to make 180hp with a camshaft change. With a good head you'll go over 220hp. If you want a turbo engine on the cheap a CA18 is an easier fit then an SR20, but in either case you'll need a trans tunnel from an automatic escort and the manual tunnel is FAR to small.
