Someone posted up a while back in one of the quarter mile threads a way to calculate 0-100 from a time slip (1/4 mile, 1/8th mile times and trap speed etc)

Anyone know what or where this calculator is ?

I dont think it is very acurate at all. I find it hard to believe that my stock EL (except for a cat back exhaust) can ro 0-100 in 6.63 seconds.

I thought the same too but after some gtech testing it was fairly close.

You might be surprised my eigth was 10.1 and the gtech shows 7.15 to 100 on average close enough to the calculator.

That calculator is wrong. There is another which is very close on that site which gives a better picture. The other shows too fast.

How do you figure useless, I got similar results with both calculators for 0-60mph

Using this link http://www.tweak3d.net/videos/calcs/sixty.shtml : I got 5.52 seconds

Using this link http://www.tweak3d.net/videos/calcs/et.shtml : I got 5.652 seconds (Until I got a value that matched my 1/4 mile time)

Those 0-100 times are bloody fast, i dont see how its possible, must be giving nearly every car on the road a damn good run for its money if it is tho.
Everything from wrx, t's, super v8s, the lot - how the hell?

I get 6.3 using both calculators which is about my average 0-100 time.

I understand they are fast, just saying if they really that fast they shouldnt be overtaken by anything on australian roads, good on 'em i say.
Not like im having a go at these guys, their cars are fast, i mean my pos is stock n slow in comparison, but just amazed at HOW fast these cars will do 0-100km/hr.

yeah mine does 6.2 according to that thing.

THe blokes who are doing 5 seconds to 100, think about it, of course they will keep up with lots of the STOCK new performance cars..
But how many WRX drivers do u know that drive STOCK WRX's?? haha

I dunno if i made sence, but i beleive ED I6 and hyena can get to 100 in under 6 ahha

Yeah thats very true, even if a WRX is stock they still go pretty quick, my step brothers WRX did 0-100 in like 8 seconds going up a fairly steep hill FFS!! Where as mine wouldnt get ne where near that.

Mind you thou the exact same WRX which is stock and its only a 98 WRX, i can actually keep up with it now but i still cant beat it

Nah that's about right i reckon Daniel.

I'm yet to run a 0-60mph on my gtech (only just got the dang thing) but hopefully around the 5 1/2 second mark.

I have no doubt that Hyena, ED I6 and eed250 are getting these sorts of times... considering they all in 14 sec qtr miles... Powerful cars with 5 speeds.
