Hi guys I have put a Bosch 044 Fuel pump and Manger Blue top injectors in my EF but now when I go to start it, it just winds over a few more times before it start. when I had the blue tops in with the standard pump it started first time every time but now if I leave if for 1hr before starting it the car just winds over and over and over then it will start...... like it has to prim the rail again. I have a 300kpa fuel reg. and thoughts...

do you let the fuel pump prime before cranking the motor over

if not try that as it pressurises the fuel rail

Did you pull the check valve out? My brother has the same problem with his 044 Equiped VL. Almost never fires first go and the pump has to be primed at least twice before it does kick over. Apparently they don't like to hold pressure after the pump is primed.

What fuel regulator are you using? Malpassi by any chance?

Hang on. The check valve is a one way valve. So essentially you removed the factory one way valve and swapped it for another one way valve (not that it should matter anyway)?
