hey i ogt bf xr6 with pacmaker exctractors and 2.5inch cat back system, k@n pod filter wit typhoon 2nd intake.. Just wonderin wat cam you guys would suggest that would give me good power and torque gains.. and a what sorta prices to buy and install. any idea would be awsum!

For starters, they are twin cam, Have a look at the crow performance cam pack for around the 650 mark. You will need to get it tuned to suit and be prepared for a little it of a lumpy idle. BTW...spellcheck is your AWESOME friend

most people are finding with the variable cam timing on BF's particularly theres no need to replace the cam. just get a tune

There's a reason why they are tuned rather conservative, and its not because they make too much power (except for the power). Its for emissions. Unless you want a balls out 160rwkW+ screamer, I'd leave the cams alone. |

He should... i got 158rwkw out my BA with those mods and a custom tune. Shouldnt be a drama with the BF.

Could do. But from what I have seen in regards to the single cam I6's is that for 160kW you need a decent cam and some head work. Its nothing to be sneezed at. I'm just basing my comment off that.

Yeah its a fair bit easier with the DOHC. They seem to respond well to cheapish mods, and for starters its making 190fwkw where as the au is significantly less than that i think??
With new cams, a BF should make 170rwkw with the right custom tune without too much dramas. |

Stock Ba turbo's were punching out around the 185 mark.

Dude the crow cams are a waste of time.
The KPM cams work but cost a fortune to get done. And the Nizpro cams are for top end only. Some of the gtuys are getting nearly 1000 hp at the crank with the stock cam and a big turbo set up,built up motors of course.. Mate put a turbo or a whistle on it,you won't be sorry.

hey thanks for all the comments.. not to sure wat to do as im on my Ps so turbo tht sorta thing is out the question... I have heard from few ppl now its a wast of time goin for cams and jst better off getin a tune.. so yerr i mite try tht and ill see how much power i get out of it..
