There are some bloody fast ones out there, but do you believe you can get 12's from an unopened FG?

Trav199 had stall issues, and only ran 13.3 because of it. He couldn't rev the car past 4000rpm irc. that in itself would lose soooo much time for an auto.

I am not up with what is what with FG's so can't really comment
But their ZF 6 speeds are the key and they can be tuned now

Will be very interesting to see how a 100% tuned/ working BF/FG would go.

Honestly I think the ZF is more trouble than they're worth. 1st is too short so you drop out of the power and going into 2nd. You put diff gears in them to compensate and make 1st useless. The 5 speed might be a great box but they've got an average reputation and nobody probably wants to touch them for performance work.

The ZF is an amazing gearbox with the right ratio behind it. Honestly, the 2.73 is not enough for it.
The 5sp needs at least a 3:23 to make it worth while, but in standard form it easily is quicker than the old 4speed.
