I will say this the lag is crap into 2nd but if tuned correctly I was told 4.1 diff gears being m80 I can't go that big the biggest I can go is 3.9 bit I think that's still fairly large was things 3.45 or 3.9 diff gears this will give it really good pull and the zf tune will remove the lag and boost my torque even further

Like I said Brett, he couldn't go over 4k rpm. That will hurt anyones ET and speed.
It more like had 235rwkw. Remember, if you drop 4.11's or 3.9's into the car it's going to have a lower trap speed for its time.

Not trying to sound mean but if you read above it says it couldn't rev past 4000rpm that is what made it lose so much time and power

Funny that only ProDyno are having issues getting the numbers on the strip. There are people running 9's with ZF's, with 140+mph. The only issues that have come up are a failure to shift when the engine is setting 6500+rpm. S mate of mine briefly held the ZF record before he was knocked off by Nizpro.

It was only first it didn't go over 4000rpm, and IIRC that was related to hitting the rev limiter and going into lump mode.

Zane Glover, the current owner, has it tuned at 218rwkw with a 4500 stall. When it did 13.3 it had a 3500 stall and Trav199 claimed 232.8rwkw although some believe it was making 218rwkw then as well.

Just read all 19 pages, intesting thread apart from all the useless bickering from other people in between.

Great times from an N/A I6, will be interested to see how far you can push it, I know you want to keep it N/A so depending what your thoughts on nitrious being a form of 'chemical' advantage, its your best bang for buck!

A mate of mine even got his ecotec VT commodore to go 12.6 with 3.9's, a shift kitted auto, twin throt manifold, aftermarket cam and tune with a 60 shot of gas.

Also are you running an air filter at the track? from personal experience in 2 different cars removing the air filter at the strip can gain up to .2 of a second.

wone be much running now it has a bad knock at idle like its got no oil presure suspect it has s**t a oil pump but worse case it will be motor out. if it has to come out its getting f6 rods, lpi pistons and big head work. p****d of it did it out of warenty but i gues its expected as its done proble close to 200 passes at the creek lol. all fun and games till somthing goes knock knock rattle rattle.

:D Know this is quite an oldie, but always wanted to be able to post here !!. Ran a 13.67 @ 99.52 mph at Willowbank tonight. 2010 FG XR6 6 speed Auto. Car is a stat writeoff and got it for $1250. Busted rear diff cradle and one snapped axle....bit of panel damage but nothing major. Had a BA XR8 diff cradle I bought for next to nix long time ago and used it to repair fg one. FG had the single spinner M86 so I swapped in the 3.46 LSD center from BA and drivers side axle too. Put $40 set of Pacemaker extractors from swapmeet in and deleted cat and rear muffler. Car had Growler CAI already. Then got a BP Racing mailorder tune for the ZF box and apart from taking out passenger seat and Space saver tyre that's it !!!!!! 13.6 first pass off the trailer.
