with the suspension changes they made,are they actually illegal or is it just not an ideal road setup. Im sure theres a lot of guys who sacrifice comfort 4 a faster run. Things like tyre pressures lowered,no spare or even no headlight 4 air. Im sure ul agree that even that red eb running that quick a time would still be well in the 13s even if u were to make a few changes to suit some of u guys that were woried about it being streetable. I think their crapy blue dev ute even ran a dead even14 so thats pretty quick...ahh well whatever

removing a suspension component from the car would be classed as illegal yes.
the tyres on the car would be considered illegal (oversized)

the other raised issues (lowered, tyre pressure etc) while not exactly great for comfort, they are still legal.

i don't doubt that the car wouldn't be in the 13's with the full street trim, i'm simply saying it wouldn't be doing its 'optimal' times.
how ever i'd like to see what times it would pull to simply be able to compare it to other cars that don't have the advantage of a full drag setup.

street legal is a very loosely used term.
technically they'd be legal on a car that had similar diametre wheels to start with (assuming they meet the required load and speed ratings etc)
how ever i beleive they are more then 5% larger then the diametre of a standard rim and tyre and thus are illegal.

getting??? i'm not getting anything. I'm building it my self. the only parts i'm wont do is the balancing. as no one in this town has epuipment up to the job. and the head will be CNC ported, again not much i can do there.
but everything els will be me.

not realy a secret at all. a few, not all, of the deails are posted on this site if you realy want to know.

the only way having no front sway bar could be legal is if there was a factory optioned car with no front swaybar. and since all E serries falcon come fitted with swaybars it is illegal to remove it.

same goes for the trailing arms. they were fitted to alter the pinion angle, that put undue stress on the uni joints, again illegal,


nice you bring up that ute, seems it ran a best of 14.01 with dev5. hang on a second thats not even in the 13s, how can that be, oh right it was running full street tyres and suspension........ doesn't seem all that impressive when you put it a real street car.

for a mail order price of $6500 (not fitted) $8300 (gesus $1800 just to fit an engine) fitted by JMM that ute is only 1 second faster then my worn out 220 000km old EF XR6

finially looks like its settling down. id love to see what each DEV cams and CROW and ALTED cams run on stock (or as close to stock) motors down the quarter and 60foot times

i got all my go fast bits instaled for less than 5000, and JMM will be the first to tell u that ute is just a hack,it hasnt even been driven 4 yonks

I don't understand why people are so dark on JMM???

I think the reason that you buy their product and pay the extra asking price is because they actually have RESULTS that are PROVEN for each of their kits.

With other aftermarket shops, you can really only go buy hear say.

I, personally, would rather pay an extra $100.00 for a cam where JMM can show me what sort of power gains other Falcons have got from it, then save $100.00 and buy a cam from another place that can't tell me what sort of power gains can be expected.

With the red EB. Who cares if it's not street driven or legal?

At least JMM are out there having a go...
