Car just hit 190 thousand kms and its due for a general service, but what else should be done, what does for do at 190 000kms

Just take it to a reputable service person/place, and tell the to check everything. At this time, I would insist on a gearbox oil COMPLETE FLUSHwhich will include the torque converter. It will cost a bit, ($200) but against $2k for a gearbox, it will be worth it.

(As an aside, I flush my gearbox/filter change every 12 months, and so far it has done 440,000 kms, no problems.)
