Ok guys got myself a 1990 na2 fairlane recently. She's got a few small issues but she's worth putting the time into.... Looking for some advice / help on the following

1. Power steering pressure switch - high pressure line was leaking at the box so I replaced that but I noticed she was still leaking so got under her today and noticed it was still leaking from the switch. I've seen some people talking about removing the switch entirely as they always seem to leak.... Has anyone done this and can point me towards what to do here and the effects.

2. Cold start will continually try to die out dropping rpm unless I start with a little throttle and hold it for 30secs or so (3.9 mpfi) I've heard the ps switch can cause this but if that doesnt solve the issue what else should I look at

3. Battery was recently disconnected for a few days do the early ea ecu have a reset procedure to follow

Car was doing about 3000km a year before I bought it so Alot could come down to not being used very often (yes it has fresh fuel and a brand new battery).

Any constructive help would be appreciated guys
