I have twin 2&1/4"...from the CAT to the muffler, then single 2&1/2" out, into a dumper before the diff axle tube.

it sounds good but where with 2 1/2 you can get away with 1 mufler without to much droning,
but if your running a fairly mild or even a std engine you dont really need anything bigger than 2 1/2! but its your choice
mine is supercharged thats the reason ive fitted a 3" exhaust
and i think a 3" will need a resinator and hot dog to help with droning noise..

here is a clip of mine with 3" cat hotdog, centre mufler and rear resinator.

ive got 2 3'' dumps pipes into 5'' cat and single 4'' system with 1 muffler and its quiet as with no droning in the cab..i'd go single 3'' if it needs it but otherwise 2.5 with 1 muffler...
