Hi guys, I need to find out a couple of things for my conversion...
On an AU engine , just above the harmonic balancer, there is two sensors, one of these reads from a jagged round thing, that runs off the crank, I think this is the crank angle sensor. And the other is just next to it, pretty sure on the intake side, what is this one? Both on the front of the motor. If its not needed can I remove it?

Also the knock sensor, Im pretty sure this is the rear most sensor on the intake side of the AU motor, it is bolted on. Would it matter if I had the wires a*** about? As Im usIng the AU sensor and plug as the EF one is too big for the threaded hole and didn't match the EF plug.

Also, before I forget, which transmission pipe is the one that oil flows TO the radiator, and which one returns it to the auto gearbox?

Thanks.

As far as I know, you transfer all sensors and electrics from your EF motor onto your AU motror, including the whole intake manifold... and you are ment to use the EF sensor by makeing up an adapter with some nuts and bolts and a welder... weld a nut the right size for your old sensor to a bolt the right size that will fit into your AU engine.

I havent done the conversion, but i've read what i have just said a few times...

Hope that helps.
