dunno, JMM insist on using pod's in their dev kits, so must be some sort of conclusion theyve come to...... apart from making more money :)

must have to stretch it alot, i got a BA intake yesturday, and it gets no where near the EF airbox.
maybe cause u got a BA engine in urs its closer..

Ahh now i see what i have done haha. The intake pipe attached to the throttle on the DOHC engine is pointing more toward the airbox than the pipe on the EL SOHC engine.

Soooooo, if you get a BA throttle pipe and flex pipe only then will it reach the airbox.

yeah lol, but im not to worried about it reaching the box anyway, i like my pods exposed :D and the people who think all im sucking in is hot air...well i have a 4" cai keeps the temps down, lower than when it was boxed..

did you cut the center out of the rubber? that is a pearler of an idea. is the k&n pod better than a k&n panel filter?

Just cut the bell mouth off flush where the harder rubber mounting block bolts up to the air box lid. As for pod versus panell filter probably not much difference, but the pod is supposed to have more surface area though.

just needs an internal bellmouth on that intake adaptor. 20-30% better flow compared to a straight cut pipe.
