Hey all,

I have an ED Fairmont and i drove it home from work yesterday no worries. Went to go out later that night and she wouldnt start.

It turns over no worries but wont start. I have replaced the leads, dizzy cap and rotor, have checked the fuel line and replaced the fuel filter. Fuel is getting through and thr fuel pump works. Starter motor is working fine battery has good charge.

Please any ideas as I need to get it started !!

Here is a quick checks,
spark------
Injector pulse------
Trigger at the coil-----

If none of the above, Its a module, Located on side of disi,

If you have trigger at the coil and injector pulse and no spark -----Its a coil,
Check you interior light globe, if its not working it could be the smart lock

Try all that first,
If all else fails let me know

Scotty

The use of a LED test light or a Noide light is the best way

i'd say spark of some sort.

maybe the ECU is confussed and it thinks the alarm went off? means the immobaliser comes on. try arming and disarming the system.

could be flooded failing that maybe?
