Are EL sparkplugs tha same as AU?

I bought some for the EL a little while ago but haven't needed them, and the AU motor needs some.

Okay. I decided to fit them. If anyone reckons they're not right please let me know.

They're the same plug up until series 2 when they went to a platinum plug but many of my tight a*** customers still use a normal plug when ordering for a series 2.

all good chief

I looked at some of those once and they looked wrong and inconsistent ? . . . plus they're a long way away from me.

I figure i could work out a legitimate sounding question to ask Repco or the like over the phone that would give me the answer i need, but thought i'd check the forum first.

It's a 2001 motor so i guess that's series II = platinum.

But i figure as long as the ones i have are okay i won't get fussy about them, at least not at this stage.
