Hi there wondering how I go about swapping a vct head to a hp head

Can i basically just swap them over?
Or do I have to change the ecu aswell

Or would it be easier to swap the whole engine

The reason I ask is head gasket was done a few months ago
Driven about 3k since than then one day

Car was running fine pulled up at the servo
Then it stalled (not normal)

Turned the key engine turns over but sounds like no compression
Had a mechanic look he said bent exhaust valves
Don't want to change the head then same problem happens again

sounds like the cam gear was installed incorrectly for it to bend valves!

they will fit of course
not sure if the cam is the same profile though

you may need the cam from the non auxr6 head
no idea about the ecu either
