well start of next year im going the forced induction route on my au wagon, the bottom end is a little with 330,00km on it,it leaks oil from the sump gasket and the rear main seal so im thinking of putting a lower km engine in,i've heard el bottom ends are stronger for boost but i want to have a au head on it?so au bottom end or el bottom end?

Why the big deal about having the AU head? If you were sticking to n/a I would say yes but it will have less of an effect with f/i, particularly as I am assuming this will be a (relatively) budgetish build (otherwise would be going aftermarket bottom end).

I would go with an EL due to shorter rods; you won't need to rev it anyway.

Seriously do people google "f**k up modifications for Fords owned by Jews" and get linked straight to this site nowadays?

the AU has a weaker rod. but it has cross bolted main caps and a factory mains girdle.
I'd be using an AU bottom end with BA Spool rods

the issues you'll have is things like blow-by, excessive bearing clearence may cause problems.

If you are going to have the sump off to fix leaks, it would be a good idea to take a few bigend and main caps off to see what the bearings are like.

It's really not a hard job to change the mains and bigends with out stripping the engine.
