AU CENTRAL LOCKING NOT WORKING BOOT RELEASE ALSO NOT WORKING

 Post subject: AU CENTRAL LOCKING NOT WORKING BOOT RELEASE ALSO NOT WORKING

Basically the doors stopped locking and the boot release as well (the switch not the manual puller) if i lock the doors with the key only the front locks,anyone had this happen?

Check you 30amp fuse, it is blown I dare say... and if it keeps blowing...

Thanks mate i guess i will have to do what you have done.Was just hoping there was an easy fix! it has been out side and its been rainning. thanks again i will start on it now.

Fixed! the idiots at the panel beaters left the wires into the boot lid out side of the car,in the channel along the boot rail,cut into the wires and shorted it out,NICE WORK! rewired it and now its good. Thanks Froudey.

glad to of helped (sorta :P ) I didn't think it would be much as mine is a case of getting a new towbar loom.

Seems you cant trust no one these days,and the guy who did the panel work is a mate ! yeah thanks for the heads up was hoping there was a quick fix, i started at the boot because it had been taken off a few weeks ago.
