Hi everyone, sorry if this is in the incorrect forum

Putting an au1 engine into my EL,

I have a very simple question, that I cannot find an answer to anywhere,

When bolting a EL T5 to the AU block, do I use the AU Sandwich plate? Or the EL Sandwich plate?

Cheers,
Tait

What bellhousing are you using?
are you aware of the bolt patturn differences from e series to au?
either way you can still use e series bellhousing.
when I put au engine in my ed I used the au sandwitch plate.

Use the AU sandwich plate for either the E series bellousing or the AU bellhousing.

when i finally put the AU engine in, i will be using the AU plate & AU bellhousing [only coz i want bolts allround - the guys that have already answered have used the e series bellhousing on the au without hassles]

Im using E series Bellhousing,
So I should use the AU Samdwich plate?

I'm aware it's missing a few bolts but your ED punched 250rwkw and was fine wasn't it?

Yes use AU Sandwich plate. It will be fine. Has been done many times with both manual and auto.
