Hey guys i just brought a 2000 Au falcon when starting it it usually dosent start first pop. i have to turn key off then wind over again and wen it does start it seems rough for a second or so. Also of idle it has a flat spot before picking up, from then on it runs fine. What should i check first? leads ? also whats a good way to lower it. its on 17s

Hey mate,

Had the same problem in an AU I drove for a while.
Sometimes it would pick up going around a LH turn.
Chased my tail trying to fix it.

Swapped
- coil pack
- leads
- crank angle sensor

One thing i never looked at (but sold the car before I could replace it) was the fuel pump and pressure regulator.
Maybe give that a go.

My v8 au ute was the same, plus not much top end rev, ran a pressure test, turned out it was the fuel pump. :(
