Alright its gonna sound stupid but what power steering fluid do i put in my AU 6 cylinder?

In my old EF Fairmont ghia i used to put Dextron III

Cheers for the tip phongus i will check out K-Mart today :D

Was DEXTRON III a really bad idea in my EF Fairmont because it ran it for years in the power steering pump. :?

dexron is whats used in ea-el, but ford changed the fluid type from au on..

No problem...I used to run Dextron III as well...until I popped a leak and dumped fluid everywhere. But I had no worries with DexIII or the Formula F.
