I just would like to know if the AU fuel pump with fit into the EF fuel tank??????

different part numbers EA-EF is a GE017 and late EL is the same as AU (GE062) but looking over the specs cant say why it wouldnt work as the diameter and length are smaller but the flow rate p/hr of the AU is greater.
with some mods should work as the walbros are smaller and fit no dramas.

i asked this question and still havent got an answer.
asked bursons and they said ALL e series i6 are the same el 2-98 > AU v8 pump AU i6 different pump i imagine you could mod it to work, however never seeing the mounts or pump itself i dont know.
