au VCT head on ef block????

any things going to stop me??

Crank Assembly balanced, HV oil pump, ACL Trimetal bearings, "1 extra oil clearance taking to around 0.0650-0.0700 on mains and big ends, Moly rings,, Xr6 Cam, POD ( Possibly oversize injectors), Block, Head, Timing cover, belt idler, Alternator,painted in ford light blue

You'd need a normal (non vct) AU cam + rocker assembly to go with it.

you dont need to change the cam assembly over, but to get the vct to work you will need a rpm switch to operate the vct solinoid.
you can put a vct head on any sohc 3.9 or 4.0l. its a straight bolt on deal,
if you do it make sure you get the oil supply line and adaptor...

to be honest, ive done it before and for a std set up it went quite well,
but i still got more overall power by just using a wade cam and ditching the vct...

you may get the VCT mechanism working, but the ECU in the car its going in wont have the correct tune to make the most of it?
