My major Question would be is the timing chain gear the same? And can you use the EF timing chain? I have seen a whole VCT donk installed in a E series falcon on this site. But not just the VCT head on a E series block.

Can it be done

Cheers

hi mate..
the vct head will bolt straight on.. and they use the same chain as far as i know, i know the chain guides, aux shaft ect are the same..
the only difference is the vct unit and the adjustable cam gear/sprocket..

if you get a vct head remember to get the oil line and fitting from the au block.
which goes into the oil pressure port on the block and your oil pressure sender will screw into that.
