heys guys
need some help with my car.
Its an AU xr6 sedan and i think the fuel sender unit is buggered.
I pulled it out the othere weekend to see if it was the float and as i pulled it out there was a rubber piping on the float about 1-2 mil thick and tapered at the othere end
I removed it and the reading on my gauge went from empty to quarter full.
Filled it up and it read full.
Now I'v done 120 k's (on the trip computer) since the fill and its still reading full was that piping a counter weight?

Please help urgent to get this done as car is my only car

well i do around 100-150kms in the same car as you before the guage moves.

if it is still reading full after 200 well u have fooked something
