what cams do people put in their manual AU's these days?
Heard the 1636 wade gives some nice low down, which i'm after becuase i just like grunt off the line (e.g. 0-60km/hr). I think she goes fast enough over 4000rmp. I've done heaps of searching, but every seems to be talking about e series more than AUs. 977b is the most accepted, Correct? Bit of a conservative on the fuel as well, so I don't want power at the expense of decent economy. can people with AU (hp) motors tell me a bit about what's worked best for them? (have usual mods - exhaust, intake)

if you want a grind from wade, then i would hurry up. they are closing their doors at the end of the month

surecam, cms, cve. there is just not enough work coming through the doors for wade apparently

no offence to wade cams , their service was top notch when i got a cam for my auxr6hp
it made no difference at all  i hope the new cams are bettersure i did not do a dyno before and after but felt nothing swapped the cam back to original and car still went the same the cam was put in another stock au ( futura i think it was )and that owner noticed a difference also can you still buy the shims?

i have a camtech cam, its a billet and not a regrind so no shims required! mine is ct007842b profile! i got 185 kw at the wheels (with intake exhaust and a tune) however to get his power i run at about 16l/100.
this is what i have to give you an idea of what it did for me
