G'day just wondering if anyone has bought one of the intake pipes from throttle body to airbox from Ford or somewhere else and how much did it cost.

just the pipe is about 70-80 bucks at ford w/out the pipe that connects to the airbox, i might be able to get ya one for about 40

oh nice, yeah i just want to finish the intake before i start doing headwork. I was speaking to grubs at the skyhigh cruise and he said he made a few kw's just from the pipe

Ba intake from Fraud is 120 dollars. I paid 70 from wreckers, so sikford's price is very good

yeah, i sold grub his one a while back, if there's interest i can get em other wise i dont bother, they do give a bit of response and its not an expensive mod to do.

yeah il grab one if you can get it. Does the whole intake pipe fit up?
I was going to get one of those mandrel bent pipes, but i dont want to wait another 6 months

yeah, no dramas at all with it, you just gotta get a straight bit of 3" ally to go from the end of it to the airbox, check out fordfairmonts pics and you'll see what i mean, only has to be about 30com or so long, maybe a little bit more.

hi guys, i put a fram air hog filter in my BA fairmont and made a steel scoop behind the grill to force air into the inlet , removed the big mother rear muffler and it runs so much better , goes hard at 100 ks back to second and flies.

yeah, when i had the exhaust done the "1st" time, i left the rear muffler out of the picture then had it changed as it was way too feckin loud and picked up a fair bit of tourqe being an auto i needed the back pressure.it picks up good at 100 now, any speed really unless its a stinkin hot day and it hates the heat.lol.now i just have to getthe XR6t snorkel and thats it until the new intake comes in that im waitin on
