Hi, just wondering what internal engine mods people are doing, and what are some of the problems with the engine once u start pushing it a bit?

You'll have to be more specific.. what are you trying to achieve? BA-FG NA i6's are almost indestructible.. I saw one the other day with 980,000 KM on it and it still ran beautifully and blew no smoke or anything..

If you just want a bit more poke, put extractors, a decent cat and cat back exhaust and get a 98 octane tune for it that ramps up the advance a bit. makes a big difference.

again, it comes back to what you want to achieve.

Well this ones goin to be on methanol, Microtech ecu to handle ignition side of things, and have a 350 Holley on it. It's goin into a speedway car so that's about as much as our rules allow us to do

We have a great cnc port program for the BA-BF and a turbo program for the FG hi swirl head as well.
