Hey guys a mate of mine just crashed his 01 au falcon ute not xr6 or anything, and was looking to get either a ba, bf or fg front end, just wondering if these will fit? Obvs getting new front 1/4 panels, hood, but I said that the ba/bf is a maybe and highly doubt the fg will fit, so just wondering if any will? Cheers luke.

I saw an AU about a year ago, series II with an XR6 BA front on it. I am assuming he would have changed from the firewall forward, ie: inner skirts, radiator support panel and bumper bar of course, it can be done.

A panel beater mate told me the AU and BA front panels will interchange. And the first BA V8 Brutes (racing cars) were actually AU's with BA panels, as they still used the 5.0 for a year or two. It would be a nice way to make an AU look presentable.....

you need to change the rad support and inner skirts from front of the wheel arches forward.

yep what they said. one of the panelbeaters at my work has an AU ute with a BF XR8 front on it, it looks horn as.

BA/F guards actually fit straight on AU as well, obviously the lights wont, but we found that out when we threw one on his AU dirt circuit car.
