does anyone know if a ba xr6t snorkle will fit to an ef airbox correctly. i emailed FTG about this but they couldn't confirm, and they are no longer selling the el gt and au xr8 snorkles. not worried about making any changes to the mouth of the snorkle but would like it to fit snug to opening to the airbox.

Yep, it's the same as the AU Tickford one but doesn't have the wings.
To make them a perfect fit i used to trim about 3 mm off the front edge where it screws down, you'll see what i mean when you go to fit it.
