Hi guys,
I've just done a bbm conversion on my eb and changed over the complete engine wiring, electric fans, belts, everything from an el. when I cranked it over this arvo it was running rough and blowing heaps or smoke. It didn't sound like the timing was right but as I'm new to a lot of this I don't know what my next move is.
Any help would be much appreciated.

No, apparently not.
Well as at always happens fix one thing find another thing wrong.
No more smoke but its now hunting

Will resetting the base idle fix this?

Try resetting the computer first... Either unplug it for 10 mins or disconnect battery for 10 mins...

You are running the EL computer yes?

I've reset the base idle and now it's just reving. Blah! I'll try resetting the computer and see how that goes. Next step will be to clean the isc or replace it. guess I'll keep working at it.
