hey guys,

ive been lurking around the net for the last few days and it seems that nobody has ever done it, perhaps thats a reason in itself to just forget about it but screw that i thought id ask.

so far i have two opinions on this particular rev limiter (ignition cut) and that is its bad for you cat converter and your valves, then some people where saying it nicer then fuel cut rev limiter that comes from factory (though that is not a popular opinion)

Id also like to point out that yes i know i dont get the benefits of the anti-lag feature but thats besides the point and i also wont be driving around bashing off it all the time just a little one every now and then haha xD

anyway is the barra182 strong enough to take it?

if you dont know about the bee*r limiter there are plenty of videos on youtube xD

never heard a rev limiter being bad for valves or a cat

so you want to remove the factory limiter and replace it with this one?

just so you can shoot flames?

you will need to UP the factory limiter via a tune then install this one if you want to

use it

less than that even I just want to install it and set it way under the factory limiter and just give it a bash every now and then. The valves and cat is because excess fuel explodes in the extractors making pressure on the exhaust valves and shooting fire into my cat converter maybe even all the way out my exhaust. does anyone have an idea on how to install it into a ba anyway?

Bee*R limiters are very violent. I'm running a spark cut limiter in my Baleno, but that's through the Haltech, set as a soft cut. It gets flames and the cool s**t, but doesn't do as much damage. I also try avoid tagging the 8200rpm limiter too.

if its going to damage your car why is it worth it just purely to wank over with your mates?

I've gone spark cut because I don't like cutting fuel at big revs.

Because a soft cut limiter gradually pulls spark, where a hard cut, as the Bee*R limiter is, pulls ALL spark instantly.

Everything between the rocker cover and sump.

It's a matter of when, not if.
