now i realise this has probly been asked before but i cant find anything relavant to my situation.....

I have the undermentioned AU1 XR6 with the hp motor in it. This car is used for mainly daily driving with the odd trip to WSID and occasional dyno days.
It is essentialy stock except for a k+n panel(soon to be a pod) and a 2.5inch mandrel bent exhaust.
Im torn between the JMM race series long headers and the pacie 4480's or 4499's. fuel economy isnt an issue here but drivability is, of course I'd like a power increase but a torque increase is more important.

Useful comments only thanks guys!

I was under the impression the JMM made the best results, i made 127rwkw with intake and full exhaust and thats with the 4480's. So id say mid 140rwkw for your car.

Cant see you hitting 150. I hit 137rwkw in shoouout mode which is more generous than some dyno's. Never know till the day though.

haha, 150 with basic bolt on, dreaming. dude you will be lucky to get 135 on a happy dyno with what you have done. Also forget about a pod, more hassle than they are worth not to mention 0 increase on the strip.

just a quick question, did you get your car dynod on the same dyno because 114kw to 136kw with just a catback and an air filter is a big jump.

I doubt it. Would be lucky to hit 130rwkw on a non shootout dyno.

it was different dynos the 114 was a mainline the other was dyno dynamics
on the day the mainline was approx 10%low(CMS holden v's ford 6 cylinder day) its just that they are the only figs. i have on paper...

please bear in mind that the 114kw reading was on a completely stock car including the 10yr old original exhaust.

I got ripped!

I made 126rwkw with a cat back, and 4480's a couple of years ago. I honestly can't remember if I had the mandrel intake fitted then or not.

On a side note, I know the guy who had the EL that the 4480's were developed and tested on ;)
