It doesnt say how much the Billet cams are, or when they say "New Camshafts" do they mean Billets?????

And is the trade in price still included on the Billets???

I have sent an email off to Wade like 3 days ago and still havent got a reply back yet

Griffo

We haven't received an email from you "griffo161"

New camshafts and billets are one and the same. New cams are an outright sale....there is no "trade in" available. There is generally no trade in for regrinds either. We do an exchange service for regrinds but that not should be confused as a trade in arrangement. The pricing thread in the WADE CAMS sponsor forum gives all the prices.

Send me a PM if you have any further questions.

Cheers

i have a 1636 in my auto and after the ecu learnt how to idle ive not had a single problem and it hammers. i think it runs better on 91 octane than 98 as i was using 98 when it first went in and 91 now and im not sure if ecu just learnt or if the fuel has made the change... ill throw in 98 next refill...

Would be the ECU learning for sure man, fill it up 95-98 in and whack some more base timing in.
I run about 15 degrees base in mine, works well if you always fill up with premium.

Thanks......I thought you'd given up on us. I just wanted to make it clear that we were prepared to give you your money back or exchange the cam for another profile......if that would help. I appreciate that there have been a number of people who've had problems with the 1636, but, by far the majority who've bought the 1636 have been happy with it. That's not worth much to you l guess.

Have you had the motor tuned yet?

Cheers

Chris

Hey falcon_3512003, have had the same experience with the 1636 in my wagon but also with two similar RPD cams, so I figure its something to do with the car/computer. Will be getting a SCT Eliminator chip and custom tune within two weeks, so hopefully will have some feed back. All three cam's ran almost identical times with the RPD R1 doing slightly better, going to stick with the 1636 and see what happens.
