Hey guys,am just curious on people's thoughts on the appropriate head gasket for my application, the engine is a BF E-gas engine (so high compression) but will only be run on E85 or higher octane fuel but boosted,Am using crow cam valve springs and retainers with ARP 12mm head studs + HP Junkies 12mm head stud washers (bigger washers help even out the clamping force and reducing the chance of head crush) but am unsure of the head gasket,as in should I just use another E-gas gasket or a BA/BF MLS gasket,Turbo gaskets any different?,cometic head gasket which could lower compression? ,could do with some advice hey...
Anyway would love to hear any comments or advice here, cheers Johnny.

ALL BA, FG, FG MKII and FGX 6cyl head gaskets are the same from the factory. BA 6051A

To be honest, I have never heard of anyone chasing after a "better" head gasket and, I never SOLD a VRS or Head Gasket while in a Ford dealership. I think the last one I sold those parts for was an AU.

I guess there are better ones around but, like I said, I can't remember much going wrong with the Barra Engine?

Hey papa smurf, yea was more just confirming that theres no problems with using a standard head gasket -and to find out if there was any difference between the N/A turbo and egas, can get genuine Ford VRS kit for a good price so I think that'll be the go!
Thanks again for your time and knowledge mate-I really appreciate it, cheers Johnny.
