Ride: 2007 BF Mark2 Fairmont

Location: Adelaide
SA, Australia

G'day boys and girls. I recently purchased a 2007 BF Mark2 Fairmont and i was looking into my first mods. It's a NA Barra by the way. I was looking at exhaust systems and it seems that my exhaust dumps before the rear bar. If i was to purchase a catback exhaust, which would i look at buying? Would i be able to just purchase a xr6 exhaust or would i have to modify my rear bar to get the tips to fit? Or would i just need a custom one to do this/just buy an exhaust with a dump style tip? Cheers in advance.

As far as I know, you WILL need to purchase a new lower bar section (should have no issue finding on Ebay) If you want to use the XR exhaust that is what you will need to do or cut out a piece to allow the tail pipe to exit. You might want to look into changing the Catalytic convertor, the originals are rubbish, you should be looking at getting a nice Stainless Steel one, a minimum of 200cpi (cells per inch).
