Hi guys my mate has an ex cop BF II and he was telling me the headlights on it are flickering on and off. The driving lights are not affected by this.Anyone know where i can start to help him out with what it could be? I know what to look for on my EB but not familiar with where to look on the B series as i have not had any issues with my BA on this. :? . He has not given much further info as he is pretty nieve with cars.

LOL :) Yeah maybe. Or maybe my mate should maintain his car a bit better.

And I've also read a bit on XR6T.com there have been a number of instances wherre the grounds for the headlights have gone s**t and need a clean. The grounds are on the body directly behind the lights. If its a turbo, the ground on the drivers side is usually the main culprit.

I suggest that he replace the headlight switch. Have you asked him if he had a burnt connector at the hypertech switch? since it can overheat and melt the connectors.

He will have no idea what were talking about if i mention that to him.
I still have to have a look at this car, i have not seen him yet too busy with work and fixing my own cars. BA is ok but spent alot of time and money on my EB lately. Ill check all the mentioned causes when i finally see him
