Busy changing heads in my EF I6 (upgrading to 94DT Tickford head and 1636 Wade Cam), been pretty uneventful and straigh forward apart from finding one of the rocker arms missing a peice and the peice to be found nowever (presumably in the sump now).
And now the timing chain tensioner is broken. Went to remove the plug from the retainer and it was in there so tight that the entire retainer came out (looks like the retainer will have to be fitted to the vice to I can get the plug out). And then a peice of metal fell out which turns out to be part of the cam sleeve broken off for some unknown reason!
Not happy about it as means more delays - don't think I'm gunna get a new one for Christmas today! :(

bummer,,just get one off a wreckers when your able to,,i had to replace the thing on my ea,,i think it cost me about $15 or $20.

found a new one at work - got it for like 19 bucks. stocked. should have her running again in not too much longer!
