Well i hear that (from my old work) that if you put a container of pepper in the radiator it can stop small leaks. Is this true?

The story is i have a XF and its got a pin hole leak. Can i just put pepper in the radiator to stop the leak?

Dude surely you're not that hard up? Get some proper stop-leak... or better yet, fix the radiator...

the only time you should use pepper, an egg or even cow or horse s**t to fix a hole in the radiator is if your stuck in the back off no where becayse it just doesnt block the hole it gets in and blocks every thing, you can use a pair off pointy nose pliers on it if it is a vien of the radiator crimp it closed or roll it over and fold it afew times and crimp it all temp fixes only though
new radiators on ebay go for about $160

Hey stomper...if you need a radiator for your xf I've got one here. For a few bucks I can have it in Adelaide next weekend. Pm me if you want it (its a heavy duty one, did about 12 months work)
