Hey Guys,

Does the later models el - au falcons 4.0lt cams fit my ea 3.9lt falcon ?
I don't have the spare money to buy a new cam but thought later model cams may have a high lift and longer duration in the 4.0lt.
I have got myself a mpi setup from an el falcon
want to see if any cams will fit so that I could do the conversion from cpi to mpi with a better cam and extractors
and hopefully down the track convert the 3spd auto to either a 4 spd auto or t5 manual
Thanks in advance

I always heard that out of the stock, non xr cams, the EA was the best...regrinds are cheap though.

No, the cams are different and so is the rocker gear. Changing stock cams won't benefit much.

As Benno stated, a regrind is the cheapest option (along with a J3 chip). A dyno tune can extract more power out of your engine and iron out any bugs (eg. rough idling, running too rich).
