yeah i quired about this cam, it is 205 duration over 050, the 977b is 206 duration over 050 so there isnt much difference at all, one thing i didnt find out was if standard springs and ecu are usable? or do they have to be modified. my car is manual btw

Nothing like a custom cam! Surecam will be grinding a cam for my brother's AU Ute soon, and have done cams for a few members here before!

i only want mine for some decent output with a bit of a lumpy idle, nothing too drastic because im still on my p's and dont wanna get caught out.

whats the specs of your brothers cam?

the au1645 will work on std valve springs but the ecu will need a tune, works great in a manual...
although the 977b and au1645 idle smooth when the ecu is tuned to suit.. there not "lumpy" cams.
if you want something "lumpy" that actually works well go a custom surecam..
eitherway if its going in an au , it will need to be tuned unless you like endless hunting and stalling..lol

How much are surecams ? A ti chip would do I'm Guessing
My brother had a 977b in his n/a it was a auto it didn't like idling, a manual would suit it better I'm guessing even without a tune?
