Hi

Just a question is it possible to get 6 ea-ed/el single coils and wire them as a ef/au coil pack would be (one + & 3 triggers)

Will wiring 6 single coils in place of a ef coil pack work with a ef/au ecu

Looked at wiring diagram and looks like all + are wired together and there's 3- triggers one per 2 cyl

Buy a BA. They have 6 seperate coils.. :wink:

can you - yes
should you - no

you would need to connect with 2 coils to fire at same time (x 3 banks of) as ef/au use waste spark system (one plug fires on compression stroke other on exhaust stroke)extra load would cause weak spark and eventually cause ECU failure......................
