Probarly going to get a lukey 2.5'' sports exhaust tommorrow with a big oval tip.
Just interested to see what people have to say about them.
It will cost $345 for the system and tip fitted.
Anyone with a lukey system, do they sound tough?

Thanxs,

Dyl

thanks, a few people said that they sound sweet so going in tommorow most likey and getting one fitted.
what are your takes on the big exhaust tip that is shaped for the bumper, they are about 4-5'' wide. will that add any extra sound?
the exhaust wouldnt attract to much attetion from the boys in blue would it?

thanks for the feedback azza

Lukey have a nice note to them. I’ve got an ESA system myself but my mates got a lukey, they both sound the same, so either way is fine. As far as the locals go well it all depends on the setup. For one just putting a tip on the end wont change the noise of it, it will look good but that’s about it. Second it depends whether or not you keep your rear resonator. I did and the system was rather quiet at idle (still sounds sweet) but when you’ve got your throttle open it is decent, should still fall in with the legal requirements. Remove that rear resonator though and they liven up allot. I had mine removed recently, sounds sweet without it, and I haven’t had any problems yet, and I’ve driven through booze bus stops, and past a few cops. But then again my old rear pipe with the resonator on it is wrapped up and in storage so any problems and on it goes again.

Your more than welcome there mate. I know my ESA system fell like 2db under the legal limit when I had the resonator fitted. Trust me you won’t be disappointed with a lukey. One other word of advice though, just in case you didn’t know, exhaust systems need time to run in. It could take you anywhere from a week to a month before the system sounds its deepest. When it’s first fitted it wont sound as loud as it eventually will so don’t panic if it doesn’t meet your expectations straight away. Just drive it around as normal and over time you will hear the difference.

Yeah, i've got a lukey system and i sounds awesome. Was a bit raspy* at first but after a week of running in it sounded better.

Adding a lumpy cam makes it sound even cooler tho!!

IM happy with mine, ive got a lukey race muffler and it sounds awesome! On lpg its sounds soo damn aggressive its cool! Was driving my mate around the other day and he said that when i was getting the car up at about 3000rpm the roar from the exhaust was hurting his ears lol.

Its not event that loud thou.......But still. :)

But yeah i think you should get the lukey system, money you wont regret spending!

dont wana spoil your fun but did you pay 345? i got mine in a bout a month ago and got quoted the same, rang sprints and they got it in for 190. then rang the exhaust shop and they would fit it for 50 (yes it is the same system) ended up doing it myself at home. but they do sound awsome!!!
