installing a cannon requires to remove old muffler, does this improve the flow making more power?

no, it wont, increasing flow too much can be detrimental, plus if you put on a cannon, prepared to be flamed. cough..rice.cough.

so it will look like a rice burner :) , removing the rear muffler and replacing it with straight through pipe will make it sound better?

Cannons are made for 4 cylinder cars and Commodores. They are not to go anywhere near a Falcon :D

Removing the rear muffler and addind a straight through pipe will arguably sound better, but it wouldn't really be worth the effort IMO...

Better off spending some extra cash and getting a cat back...

theres a ea up here in newcastle that has a cannon, although it looks absolutely s**t it acutally didnt sound too bad. But deffiantely dont get one. Removing the rear ressi makes a small difference noise wise, i had to do it on my ef because it was stuffed and owuldnt pass rego. Made it a bit liuder but deffinately no performance gains.

Dude... Cannon comon! Twin tips can look ok, but often add a real bad whistle to your exhaust noise. As mentioned I'd probably go a Vt styled one.
