hey some dumb lady ran up the a** off my 95 ford futura it bend the rear guards up , alone with the boot and bumper but i am wondering to match to paint on the guards after they replace straighten whatever . is it hard to match matallic paint ??? female drivers :evil:

if its creased the rear gaurds chances are it will be written off, i wouldnt want to drive a car with repaired rear gaurds (they form part of the structure of your car)

and on e-series the read guards are all linked into the roof arent they? meaning you cant replace them without replacing it all?

yea they have to cut and weld a new section, 99% of the time making the structure weaker, hence why they write them off

steve2208 also depends how much ya car is insured for aswell , the falcon 1/4 panels on EA-ED join at the bottm off the c pillars and Ef-EL join at the top off the C pillar .

i work at a panel shop and we got a ef in the other day it didnt look to bad it was hit in the front. ony put a slight twist in front it only had 96000 ks on it and it got riden off

its only insured for $ 4560 i wouldnt recon u could much for under that

You're better off having the car written off and getting another EF then driving around in a car with bodgy repairs.
