car was fine this morning guys - came out after work about 7 hours later car wouldn't start - called RACV and battery is fine, ignition swith is still fine and int-tact the guy thinks it could be my aftermarket alarm and it has immobilised the car - but i cant reset the alarm:( im not sure what else it could be any ideas?? if i dissconnect the battery would it reset the alarm??


I WANT MY CAR BACK!!!!! the guy is going to have a look at it soon but i wanna no if i should try anything else before he comes - im not sure it could be anything else except the immobiliser

if the alarm has a battery backup siren turn that off before you disconnect the battery.

it may reset the alarm so try it.

otherwsie it means finding the relay or the cut ignition wire and bypass it.

its an AU so maybe smartshiled is not working, got an interior light working.

try the key in the igntion at on position for 20mins as well for the re-learn procedure.

yea interior light is on, i turned it off from the siren but the led light wouldn't flash so i could type in the pin code so i dunno - i might try and leave the ignition on see what happens thanx

lol nah definately the alarm - i played around with it all of a sudden i went back outside , pressed the alarm and i heard it beep and went to turn on the car and it worked - went for a drive to make sure it wasnt anything else - just went out to try it then and i didnt hear the alarm go again, and yea the rest is history

guys coming to have a look at it now i want my baby back!!!
