hey everyone
tried to start the car today but she didnt start. everything works but it seems as though the sparks aint firing or something. when i turn the key i can hear the fuel pump rev so its not the fuel pump. but when i try to turn her over all i hear is the starter motor just turning the engine but wont fire. now i dunno if it might be the sparkies or the injectors themselves. cheers phong =P~

what car is it, stick a screw driver in one of the leads and get some one else to turn her over if you get a spark then maby some new plugs or else you have big problems, check all the leads are on propply especialy at the coil

Most probably the ignition coil dude... If you arent getting a spark at the leads, then id say coil. You can do it yourself...a bit difficult to reach, but not too hard.
My coil died a few months ago...but mine did it a busy intersection. Had to get the b1tch towed.

well i have an EA 1989, i was thinking of selling her in pieces so i dunno if i should fix the problem or not. so i see what happens.
by the way the car started up again for some reason. its like temporarily doesnt work and then works again. cheers for the help though phong =P~
