hey all

just after some advice to clean out the block whilst its still in the car. head gasket went, and left a nice gravey-like substance all through the car. i've dropped all the fluids, but want to clean out as much crap from the jackets etc as i can without having to take the motor out (read: too lazy).

was going to give it a good scrub down with degreaser etc, and change the coolant & oil a few times after minimal kms to ensure its all cleaned out as much as possible!

cheers :)

spewin the heads off, if it were on, I'd have poured in diesel and removed plugs/ignition and cranked her over for a while.

Unless your taking the timing cover off and removing the chain, you won't be able to clean it as good as you'd like.

how bad is it? if its thickened, be carefull as the oil pickup might be clogged,
worse case is remove it and do it propperly!
