hot wire?
i have a key.. i havnt cut any wires, think i might need an auto sparky for this one, on the plus side atleast my car isnt goin to go missin in the next few days lol, maby i should consult a car theif might give me some pointers

I can't recall how it works but I think you need to reprogramme your keys in or the barrel. look up the procedure on both!
