try doing it yourself, its not that hard, all youll need is a fresh bottle of differential oil...ive seen them for sale SECOND HAND but good nic at just over 500

its easy to do, u just need a few mates to help you support the diff whilst u bolt it all in. G&J charge around $1100 to convert a single pegger to LSD and change ratios.

setting pinion depth and getting the carrier in the right spot is not some thing i recomend the DIYer do if you havn't done it befor or dont have a mate who has done it befor.

more so when you are using non standard gears like a 3.7:1

new 3.7 gears are around 600 to 700
can get second hand 3.45 gears for around 400 to 500
new lsd around 800

bearing kit around 100
shims to get the gear mesh right, depends where you get them

Where abouts can you get the shims from?

My LSD has a wee bit too much lash.. guess it didn't like 4k clutch dumps, and I'd like to go 3.7's.

tickford_6, i actually meant just pulling the diff out disc to disc and bolting a complete new diff in, thats what i did, i'd never try changing the centres on my own, so out of my league!

any diff or trans shop will have them, the problem is you don't know what sizes you need until you put the thing together, so you need a handfull of different ones. i was talking to difftrans about the 3.7 gears. they say the pinion needs alot of shimming to get the depth righ and is a pain with out a dummy arbor to check the depth. with a dummy you can messure what shimming you need, with out one you have to guess
