i have an ef 4.0 and is drinking water its not in the oil and not in the piston chamber has any one taken the head off and replaced it with out messing the timing if so how is it done please help.... needs doing quickly

two zipties on the cam gear/chain to hold it in place, that way you wont mess up the cam timing, btw the cam only goes on one way so dont worry about that either
